Loadwise selected for the Net Zero Start-Up Hub 2026/27

Loadwise has been selected for the 2026/27 cohort of the Net Zero Start-Up Hub, the incubation program of the Net Zero Innovation Hub for Data Centers. More than 45 companies from 19 countries applied. Eight were selected at the Start-Up Hub Pitch Day at Fredericia Talks in Denmark, where the finalists pitched to a jury of Bartlomiej Czechowski (Google), Jakob Jul Jensen (Danfoss), Professor Henrik Madsen (DTU), and Hub CEO Alberto Ravagni.

The program runs from January to June 2027. It combines in-person workshops in Fredericia with one-on-one mentoring, site visits, and direct access to the operators and investors in the Hub's network. The Hub is backed by APL, Danfoss, Data4, Google, Microsoft, Schneider Electric, and Vertiv.

Loadwise builds a coordination layer for the energy assets a data center already has on site: batteries, backup generation, local production, and thermal capacity. Coordinated against grid, market, and site signals, these assets let a facility shape its grid draw and get more usable connection capacity out of existing infrastructure. Denmark is a fitting place to test that. Together with the DACH-region, Benelux, the Nordics are where Loadwise is rolling out first.

"Pitching in Fredericia meant sharing a morning with seven other teams, each working on a different piece of the same problem, from storage and power generation to carbon. That was a good room to be in. Our piece is coordination: getting more out of the assets a data center already owns before anyone builds new ones. Over the next six months we want to develop our technology together with the Hub and put it in front of the operators who will have to trust it.
